Summer Lessons!
Hello Wakefield Youth Softball Families.
We're very excited to be able to facilitate small group softball clinics offered by Wakefield High School softball coaches Emily Pomer and Allie Page.
Sessions will be held at Mapleway the weeks of July 11th through August 11th. The cost for four lessons is $120 and you can add lessons for an additional $30. You can sign up for four lessons in one week or one lesson a week for four weeks, skipping a week you're out of town, or mix and match any way you choose. The goal is flexibility. The following are being offered:
- Offense (with Allie), 12U/14U, Mondays 1:30-2:45. Cap 12
hitting progressions, base running, leads, pickles, and sliding
- Offense (with Emily), 8U/10U, Wednesdays 1:30-2:45. Cap 12
hitting progressions, base running, leads, and sliding
- Defense (with Allie), 12U/14U, Tuesdays 1:30-2:45. Cap 12.
proper throwing progressions, base coverage, fielding, outfield specific work, cut offs
- Defense (with Emily), 8U/10U, Thursdays 1:30-2:45. Cap 12
proper throwing progressions, base coverage, fielding, outfield specific work, cut offs
- Pitching (with Allie), 8U/10U/12U, Monday 2:45-4. Cap 6
throwing progression, strength & conditioning, foot work, beginning of targeting control. This is an intro to pitching only and not designed for anyone who has already achieved the aforementioned elements.
